Front end geometry defines a bicycle handling abilities
Head tube angle
High 70’s to low 80’s are used for track bikes and low 60’s for specialized downhill bikes.
Trail
Road bikes range from 50-63mm, more trail is nice at high speeds (motorcycles have ~80mm of trail).
Our steering angles are tuned for a perfect balance of stability while bombing down hills and maneuverability for fast cornering ability. A steeper angle will be used on larger frames to help keep the rider’s weight centered between the wheels.
